History

Liedholms was founded in 1948 by Folke Liedholm. The group is still family-owned with Folke’s three daughters as principal owners.

1948 F. Liedholms Mekaniska Verkstad is founded
1965 Acquisition of the Örestad Works and move to its present location in Ingenjörsgatan
1976 Ramlösabrunns Mekaniska Verkstad is acquired
1996 Turnover passes the 100 Mkr mark
1999 Quality certification according to SS-EN ISO 9001
2006 Certified according to ASME divisions I and II
2007 Liedholms Maskinteknik is founded
2007 Turnover passes the 200 Mkr mark
2008 RAMEK is founded as a partly-owned subsidiary
2009 Liedholms Maskinteknik AB is merged into Liedholms Mekaniska AB
2010 Environmental certification according to ISO 14001
2011 Liedholms Mekaniska AB is incorporated to Liedholms Maskinteknik AB

A lot has happened since the days when Folke Liedholm and his personnel were rolling plates with a tractor down at the beach on Råå. Liedholms Industrier has only in recent years invested in a new welding robot and a new rolling machine, among other things, for increasing capacity and improving quality.
